So why ALPHAFIT ATHLETICS? Well, it's simple! I realized that my fulfillment was not because of the fancy title at a corporate company, or making a lot of money. My fulfillment strictly comes from inspiring others to go beyond their goals in fitness and in life. So ALPHAFIT ATHLETICS was BORN! ᎪℱᎪ was inspired by my passion for fitness and bodybuilding and the fulfillment of helping and inspiring others. I want to inspire as many people to change their lives, to live healthier and active life and look amazing while doing it. ALPHAFIT ATHLETICS is a lifestyle #THEALPHALIFESTYLE!!!
It all started from an early age, I was in military schools where I did calisthenics and played sports! Then in my early teenage years I was drawn to bodybuilding and sculpting my body. Puberty wasn't being kind to me, but bodybuilding gave me something to work towards. I was first introduced to lifting weights in high school, once I started lifting weights I couldn't stop. I would skip classes to go to the school's gym, I took weight training classes as electives all through high school and I would work out at my local gym after school almost every day. I WAS HOOKED!!! I have been weight training ever since!
In 2012 I was working for a Luxury Fitness Club where I was presented the opportunity for career advancement. During the following year I was consumed by the corporate world, I worked about 70 hours a week which left very little time for anything else. I stoped training, food prepping and I wasn't really watching what I consumed. I lied to myself to justify my poor physical condition and blamed it on poor work life balance. I would look for any excuse I could come up with to justify my lack of discipline. After all my hard work paid off and I got the promotion I was working so hard for, but now I had a dilemma. My promotion was to be the General Manager of the most luxurious and trendy fitness club in North America. so I asked myself... How can I be leading the best commercial fitness club in the USA, yet I am in the worst shape I had ever been?
THAT was the waking moment for me! All my career ambition had paid off, but at the expense of my physical and medical health. It was time to make a dramatic change! I started by gradually changing my eating habits, I started training at least 3 times a week and little by little in a span of three months I changed my habits and work very hard to get to my ultimate fitness goal... TO BE 5% BODY FAT!! In a matter of 5 months I was able to change my body from 28% to 5% body fat, I lost over 50 lbs and I felt like a completely new person, I had tons of energy and in the best shape of my life!! That was not the most fulfilling part. On my journey I was able to inspire and influence so many members of the fitness club, Co workers and friends to make a change for themselves. TRULY!!! That was the most inspiring part, that was what inspired me to kept going relentlessly to achieve my goals and help others do the same.
